n 18 - 23 March 2016 at Wisma Marinir TNI AL - Megamendung, Bogor, Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia together with Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat held a training for 42 students receiving scholarships from Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia (CCFI) from 6 state universities (USU, UNAND, UI, UNPAD, UGM and UNDIP) and 20 students receiving scholarships from Give2Asia under the name The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship Camp 2016 with the theme "Move Forward To Be Excellent".
At the opening ceremony of The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship Camp 2016 on 18 March 2016, there was a symbolic handover of scholarships to 6 student representatives from each campus (USU, UNAND, UI, UNPAD, UGM and UNDIP) given directly by Triyono Prijosoesilo (Corporate Affairs and Communication Director and Deputy Chief Executive of CCFI). The opening ceremony of The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship Camp 2016 was attended by Andrew Hallatu (Public Affair Manager of Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia) and Agus Priyono (Programme Coordinator of Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia), from Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat, Satriadi Indarmawan (Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat), Hengky Poerwowidagdo (Chief Operating Officer of Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat) and the People Develope People Team as well as officers from alumni of Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat scholarship recipients.
The students received the following trainings:
· Trends in non-communicable diseases in Indonesia and how to overcome them (dr. Simon Salim M.Kes, Sp.PD., AIFO)
· Leadership Mental Model (Tim PDP)
· Leadership Transformation Behavior (Tim PDP)
· Leadership Behavior Strategies, "Servant Leaders Project" (Tim PDP)
· The Meaning of Life (Satriadi Indarmawan)
· Sharing, Networking and Developing (Tatan A. Taufik)
· Integrating Life Potentials (Ami Tantri)
imbolisation of Give2Asia's scholarship award to 10 student representatives from each campus (IPB, ITB, ITS, UI, UNAND, UNJ, UNPAD, UIN Jakarta, UNUD, UPI and UNTIRTA) was given by Tatan A. Taufik (Board of Trustees of Karya Salemba Empat Foundation) representing Give2Asia on Saturday 19 March 2016.
The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship Camp 2016 training was not only conducted in the classroom but also outside the classroom such as Team Building and Positive Fighter. In the Positive Fighter activity, trainees were given a target to find money without being provided with capital, drinking water and food and were released around the training place (Megamendung) for approximately 8 hours and the results of this Positive Fighter activity collected funds amounting to Rp. 7,172. 000,- (seven million one hundred seventy-two thousand rupiah). These funds were then decided by the training participants to create an Active Park in the yard of SDN Megamendung 01, 02, 03. With the Active Park, it is hoped that all parties will take an active role in reminding the community of the importance of living an active healthy lifestyle for the creation of a healthy and fit society.
The closing ceremony of The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship Camp 2016 was symbolically conducted by Titie Sadarini as the Chairperson of Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia by removing the training sign on 22 March 2016 at Wisma Marir TNI AL and continued with the handover ceremony of Active Park to Sopandi, S.Pd as the representative of SDN Megamendung 01, 02, 03 and witnessed by the Head of Megamendung Village Hj. Gustini in the yard of SDN Megamendung 01, 02 and 03.
The handover ceremony was held in front of the Principal and 120 students of SDN 01, 02 and 03 along with all trainees and Agus Priyono (CCFI Programme Coordinator), representatives from KSE - Hengky Purwowidagdo, Christian P Somali, Inke Maesaeroh, People Develop People Team - Cahyana Puthut Wijarnaka, Hari Subagya and all officers in The Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia Scholarship activities.
