He served as Chairman of the Board of the Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) Foundation from 2015 to 2018, where he led the expansion of Indonesia’s largest independent scholarship network. He is currently the Managing Partner at PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia, overseeing investment strategy, research, and marketing. Previously, he was Finance Director at PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek), a diversified group with businesses spanning media (SCTV, Indosiar), telecommunications, IT solutions, and connectivity. Earlier in his career, he served as Director at Credit Suisse Indonesia, leading coverage of the strategic, automotive, and consumer sectors, and spent eight years at J.P. Morgan Indonesia as Vice President Director, covering various ASEAN industries. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He served as Chairman of the board of KSE Foundation for the period 2018-2024. Currently serves as Independent Commissioner at PT Principal Asset Management. Previously he had a career at Danareksa Investment Management as President Director and he also had a career at Sun Life Financial as Head of Investment Department. Previously he worked at Manulife Financial (2003-2006). He received a Master of Finance degree from the University of Houston, Clearlake in 1998 and a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1996.

Currently serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Danareksa (Persero), Independent Commissioner of PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk., and Commissioner of PT Trimegah Asset Management. Previously served as Managing Director of PT Nusantara Sugihartana Internasional (Northstar Group) until 2023. He previously served as Director of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk., Head of Research at PT Mandiri Sekuritas and Senior Analyst at PT Bahana Securities. Started his career as an Equity Analyst at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Asia in 1994.

F. Chapman Taylor is an investment management expert with over 30 years of experience and a member of the Advisory Board of the Investment Management Agency Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara). He is recognized for his contributions to the global investment landscape, particularly in Southeast Asian markets, as well as for his dedication to education through the Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) Foundation. He previously served as Vice President Director of Capital International, Inc. and as Senior Vice President Director of Capital International Research, Inc., where he was responsible for researching telecommunications companies in emerging Asian markets. He also serves on the Boards of Trustees of various non-profit organizations, including For Love of Children (supporting at-risk youth in Washington, D.C.), L’Arche (an organization for adults with disabilities), and is an active board member of Dulin United Methodist Church.

He served asVice Chairman of the Executive Board of KSE Foundation for the period 2018-2024. Currently working at Syailendra Capital Investment as Director. Previously he worked at PT BNP Paribas Investment Partners, as an analyst at CLSA, PT Mandiri Sekuritas and at Macquarie Securities. He holds a master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Houston, Clearlake in 1998 and a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1996.
