For more than 10 years, Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) has been supported by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA) in distributing scholarships to hundreds of students in almost all parts of Indonesia.  Starting the year 2022, KSE together with BCA organized the BCA Scholarship Recipients Face-to-Face Meeting and Leadership Training. The event was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 online via Zoom. With great enthusiasm, 94 students from 35 KSE partner universities participated in this activity from 09.30 to 14.30 WIB.

In general, the BCA Scholarship Recipient Face-to-Face Meeting and Leadership Training was held to encourage and help prepare BCA scholarship recipients to become graduates who have integrity, national insight, love for the homeland, country and nation, and have the capacity and competence to become potential leaders in the future. Not only that, this event is also expected to be a momentum to build good communication and relationships between students and BCA and KSE. 

On this occasion, there was also a ceremony for the BCA Scholarship Program given by Inge Setiawaty as Executive Vice President of CSR BCA to representatives of BCA scholarship recipients. In addition, she also gave a speech as a representative of BCA and from KSE represented by Hengky Poerwowidagdo as Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of KSE.

This activity was filled by three very inspiring speakers. In the first session of the activity, Inge Setiawaty provided material on the Company Profile of Bank BCA and an overview of the Bank's CSR Program. "Learn, learn and learn ... the world is moving ... we must continuously improve ourselves" was the message from Inge Setiawaty to the students.

Then, it was continued by Laura Andiny who is Assistant Vice President of HCM BCA. She explained tips and tricks for entering the workforce, from CV preparation to interview techniques.

In the second session, Felita Elizabeth, who is KSE Donor Relations. She gave a point of view on increasing students' knowledge and soft skills regarding leadership in an organization. In addition to listening to the presentation of the material, the participants were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers. The enthusiasm to learn and the desire to grow from the participants was very evident during the question and answer session.

Through the BCA Scholarship Recipient Face-to-Face and Leadership Training, the participants were made aware of the importance of preparing themselves to jump straight into facing dynamic changes, especially in the world of work. In closing, Felita Elizabeth said, "What is certain after death is change". Through this message, we can reflect that change is inevitable. We can get around it by preparing ourselves to get out of the comfort zone into the growth zone. Indeed, various opportunities will come our way if we have adequate personal qualities.
