PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. is one of the donors of Karya Salemba Empat Foundation ("KSE") which has been supporting the KSE scholarship program since 2019. The first batch of the Cikarang Listrindo Scholarship Program in 2019 was awarded to 25 students at 7 KSE partner state universities. In 2021 PT Cikarang ListrindoTbk. Added the number of recipients as many as 30 students from 13 KSE partner universities in the Second Batch. The total number of Cikarang Listrindo scholarship recipients is 55 students.
Thursday, January 27, 2022, KSE together with PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. (PTCL) held a Face-to-Face activity as well as a symbolization of the provision of scholarships PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. This activity was attended by 53 students from 13 KSE partner universities. This activity was conducted online through Zoom starting at 09.00 until 17.15 WIB. In addition to the PTCL Batch 2 scholarship recipients, this activity was also attended by PTCL Batch 1 scholarship recipients and even those who have been listed as alumni also enlivened the event.
Broadly speaking, this activity aims to encourage and help prepare PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. scholarship recipients to become graduates who have integrity, national insight, love for the country and the nation, and have the capacity and competence to become potential leaders in the future. In addition, the purpose of organizing this activity is of course to build good communication between PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. and scholarship recipients as well as introduce PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk.in more depth.
As an opening, the event was filled by the delivery of remarks from KSE delivered by Ms. Felita Elizabeth as KSE Donor Relations and by Mr. Christanto Pranata as Chief Financial Officer of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk.
After the handover, Mr. Christanto symbolically gave a scholarship to one of the representatives of the PT Cikarang ListrindoTbk scholarship recipients. Batch 2, namely Natasya Ali from Padjajaran University.
The activity continued with the delivery of material which was of course very useful for scholarship recipients delivered by very inspiring speakers. The first material is about "Values and Organization of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk." and "PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk CSR Program" by Mr. N. Hanif Alrosyid as HRD Manager of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. Mr Hanif invited the scholarship recipients to get to know PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. Next, Mr Hanif also introduced the team from PT Cikarang ListrindoTbk. namely Mr. Faridz Rama Tirta Monterie (Assistant Manager of Systems & Support), Mr.jauhari E. Ronaldo (Assistant Manager of GA), Dita Nurul Akbarani (Community Development Office I Staff) and Lita Rizqi Farida (Corporate Communication Officer).
Then, the next material as well as the closing material was about "Value and Organization of the KSE Foundation" which was delivered by Mr. Arief Wana as the Board of Trustees of the KSE Foundation. Mr. Arief talked about KSE's journey from when it was founded by the founders to becoming one of the largest scholarship distribution foundations in Indonesia with thousands of recipients.
In the final session of the activity, the scholarship recipients were invited to have a focused discussion (FGD) by Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo regarding the community development program that would be implemented by the Cikarang Listrindo scholarship recipients. In this first discussion, the recipients were divided into four groups to formulate proposals for future community development programs to be carried out in Babelan, one of the PT Cikarang ListrindoTbk sites. The four proposed programs that were successfully formulated by the four groups were cultivating maggots, processing organic waste into eco-enzymes, market places, and making handicrafts along with marketing them through digital marketing (Facebook marketing).
