
Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) collaborates with PT. Manulife Asset Management Indonesia (MAMI) held an Article Writing Competition which was attended by all KSE scholarship recipients from the Indonesian Education University (UPI). After all participants submitted articles about "Mutual Funds, Young People's Investments", judging was carried out by MAMI. On Saturday 24 November, KSE, in collaboration with MAMI, gave appreciation to the winners at the "Awards Awarding Article Writing Competition" event at the FPBS Audit Floor 4, Faculty of Language and Literature Education, UPI. At 09.00 WIB, the number of participants was 104 students, including from the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Padjadjaran University (UNPAD). Also attended were UPI representatives Mr Pupung Purnawarman, M.S.Ed., Ph.D Deputy Dean 1 FPBS for Student Affairs, apart from that from MAMI Mrs Afifa Director of PT. Manulife Asset Management Indonesia along with the team and also representatives from KSE Mr. Ahmad Solihin, Deputy Chairman of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation.


The event opened with a Sundanese dance which is traditional from the city of Bandung, then began with a speech from Mr. Pupung Purnawarman as a representative from UPI. Next was a speech from the Deputy Chair of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation, Mr. Ahmad Solihin. The next session was a brief explanation of the implementation of the workshop "Exploring Mutual Fund Investment for Young People" which was guided by the MC and representatives from MAMI. Then groups were divided into discussions on the same topic. After holding a discussion, then a presentation in front of the resource person from MAMI, Mrs. Afifa, who immediately responded.

After the discussion and presentation session was completed, the Article Writing Competition Award Awarding session was held with the theme "Mutual Funds, Investment for Young People"
